Do employees need to register or pay anything?
No. There's nothing to register, download or pay for. The employer covers the service, and everyone at the workplace can use it freely during the workday.
What exactly is included in the monthly price?
Everything: the machine, onboarding, all drinks and ingredients, the reusable bottles, software and remote connectivity, and our support. Right now delivery and installation are included too — free until 30 September 2026 (normally 490 €). There are no separate refill orders or per-drink invoices.
What's in the drinks?
Each drink is built around one working ingredient — electrolytes for hydration, a measured caffeine dose in the focus drinks, creatine, or amino acids — mixed into a light, flavoured drink with no added sugar. On the hot side: proper coffee. Exact ingredient lists and nutrition values exist for every drink, and we'll go through them for your selection on the call.
What happens if we go over the included drinks?
Nothing dramatic — the included volume is a fair-use level, not a hard limit. If usage regularly exceeds it, we'll talk about upgrading to the larger plan. Occasional busy months are fine.
What does the machine need to be installed?
About 80 cm of counter or floor width, a power socket, a water connection and Wi-Fi. It fits a standard break room or office kitchen, and most installations are up and running within a few days of the water connection being ready.
Who maintains the machine?
Day-to-day upkeep — refills and basic cleaning — is handled by the workplace and takes about 10 minutes per week. We monitor the machine remotely and handle everything else, including technical service.
Does it replace our coffee machine?
It can, but it doesn't have to. Optishake Work serves premium coffee and can run alongside your current coffee solution. The point is that one machine covers the whole workday, hot and cold.
Can we choose which drinks are available?
Yes. You pick up to 7 drinks with us, and the selection can change as preferences evolve.
How do the bottles work?
Every machine comes with a set of reusable bottles that wash in the dishwasher like any office cup. Prefer your own? Any bottle that fits the machine opening works. And coffee goes in your own mug, as with any coffee machine.
Is this the same Optishake as at the gym?
Same machine technology — a completely different menu. At the gym, Optishake pours training products. Optishake Work doesn't: the workplace menu is light electrolyte hydration, moderate-caffeine focus drinks, caffeine-free refreshers and proper coffee. Drinks for a desk, not a deadlift. There are also no memberships and no payments: everyone pours freely, and one monthly price covers everything.
